    Bachelor of Fine Arts in Animation/Illustration, Minor in Japanese. Cum Laude. Dean’s Scholars Awards in Spring 2009-2010.

Experiences and Activities

  • Office Associate for DoujinPress (April 2013-present)
    Responsible for answering most customer inquiry emails, managing all online customer orders processes, packaging, and shipping orders. Advertises the products in creative and user-friendly ways. Optimizes images on Photoshop, proofreads, typesets, and processes print jobs for the company’s original books in InDesign.
  • Graphic Artist for Spotivate Inc. (November 2012-March 2013)
    I freelance vector web graphics, such as icons, advertisements, mascot illustrations. I also assist in image optimizations as well as revising Powerpoint content layouts, under supervision of the Founder of Spotivate.
  • Project Assistant for Daniel Huenergardt (November 2012-January 2013)
    • Indesign Assistant for typesetting, making composition decisions, organizing & optimizing photos for Schwager Davis Inc.’s bid manuals of over 100 pages. Schwager successfully won the bid through the manual.
    • Photoshop Artist and Cashier for Sleigh Ride Portraits. I used Photoshop to take out greenbacks, touch up the portraits from camera, and put them in custom backgrounds. I also assisted as cashier, taking orders, keeping track of receipts, putting data on Excel spreadsheet, and labeling orders with their corresponding numbers.

  • Web graphics & Illustrations Intern at Baydin, Inc. (February 2011 - September 2011)
    Paid Intern at Baydin Inc’s product Email Game that is currently under development. I made animation graphics, illustration designs, vector logos, and also web icons for the company. The programs used are Photoshop and Illustrator.

  • In-between Animator for student film “No Robots” (Summer 2010)
    Film won 2010 CSU Media Arts Festival Rosebud Award for Animation

  • 3D Modeler and Texturer Intern for Judo Baby Studios  (Winter 2009 - August 2010)
    A 3D modeler and texturer for character’s accessories assets for the game “Dog Football” with Autodesk Maya and Photoshop.

  • Part-time Graphic designer for SJSU Engineering Deans Office (Spring 2008 - Spring 2009)
    Created flyers and posters with Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, under the supervising of the Director of Communication in the office.
